Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains what you may not use Cryptomo for. It applies to every merchant, store, team member and API integration. If you are unsure whether your business is allowed, email uniquehunter98@gmail.com before you start accepting payments.
1. Prohibited businesses
You may not use Cryptomo to accept payments for, or in connection with:
- anything illegal in Australia or where you or your customers are located;
- illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and prescription-only medicines (including nicotine vaping products) sold without the required authority;
- firearms, ammunition, weapons, weapon parts or explosives;
- stolen goods, stolen or leaked personal data, account credentials, or tools for hacking, malware or fraud;
- counterfeit goods, fake documents or identity documents, or goods and content that infringe someone's intellectual property;
- any content that sexually exploits children, or sexual content made or shared without consent;
- human trafficking, forced labour or exploitation;
- terrorism, violent extremism, or content that promotes hatred or violence;
- scams, Ponzi or pyramid schemes, "get rich quick" or guaranteed-return schemes, and misleading or deceptive offers;
- gambling services that are prohibited in Australia under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth), or that are not licensed where they operate;
- financial products or services that need a licence or registration you do not hold, including investment schemes, trading signals, binary options, lending, currency exchange and crypto exchange services;
- mixers, tumblers and other services designed to hide where cryptocurrency comes from;
- people, businesses or countries subject to Australian or United Nations sanctions.
2. Businesses that need our approval first
These businesses may be allowed after extra checks. Contact us before accepting payments:
- licensed gambling, gaming and lotteries;
- crypto, investment, trading or other financial services (you must show your licences or registrations);
- charities and donation platforms;
- adult content and services (legal, consensual, age-verified only);
- dating services, supplements and health products that make health claims;
- gift cards, prepaid products and in-game currencies sold in large volumes;
- marketplaces or platforms that accept payments on behalf of other sellers.
3. Prohibited use of the service
- Opening an account for someone else, using another person's account, or hiding who owns or controls your business.
- Splitting payments or using several accounts to avoid our limits or checks.
- Accepting payments for a business other than the one we approved, or letting others use your account or API keys to accept payments.
- Accepting funds you know or suspect come from crime, scams or sanctioned persons.
- Attacking, overloading, scraping or reverse-engineering the service, testing its security without permission, or getting around rate limits.
- Sending spam or unsolicited messages with Cryptomo payment links.
- Suggesting that Cryptomo endorses, sells or guarantees your goods or services, or using our name or logo in a misleading way.
4. What happens if this policy is broken
We may ask you to stop the activity, refuse or hold payments, disable a store, suspend or close your account, and report the activity to AUSTRAC, the police or other authorities. Where the law allows, we will tell you why. Funds may be held for as long as the law requires, and we will return funds we are allowed to return to a verified address you control.
5. Reporting misuse
If you think someone is using Cryptomo for a scam or other misuse, email uniquehunter98@gmail.com with the payment page link or invoice number. If you have lost money to a scam, also report it to Scamwatch (scamwatch.gov.au) and ReportCyber (cyber.gov.au).
