If you searched for Cryptomo, you may have found Trustpilot reviews and scam warnings from 2024. They describe a crypto trading platform that froze accounts and demanded fees. That platform is not us. We registered cryptomo.net on 24 September 2026, and this post shows the public records so you can check it yourself.
The short version
- The domain was registered from scratch on 24 September 2026. We did not buy it from the previous operator.
- Every review on the cryptomo.net Trustpilot page was written in October and November 2024, almost two years before we owned the name.
- The 2024 site was a trading and investment-style platform for individuals. Cryptomo is a payment gateway that lets businesses accept crypto from their customers.
- We share no people, code, accounts, customer data or funds with the 2024 operator, and we cannot access its records.
What the domain registry shows
Every .net domain is recorded by the registry, Verisign. Anyone can read that record through RDAP, the modern replacement for WHOIS. This is what it showed for cryptomo.net on 6 October 2026:

The registration date is the important part. When a domain is sold or moved to a new owner, its original registration date stays the same. A brand-new date means the old registration ran out, the name was released to the public, and it was registered again from zero. The 2024 operator's registration ended before ours began.

About the Trustpilot reviews
The Trustpilot page for cryptomo.net has about a dozen reviews, all posted in October and November 2024. None were written in the last 12 months. Reviewers describe depositing crypto into a trading account, then having it frozen and being told to pay a penalty or unlock fee before they could withdraw.
Those are serious reports of real losses, and we are not asking anyone to ignore them. Trustpilot keeps reviews online when a website changes hands, because they record what happened at the time (Trustpilot's policy). It does let a new owner claim the profile and reply, so we are claiming it and replying to each 2024 review with a link to this post. Trustpilot also gives most weight to recent reviews, so reviews from Cryptomo merchants will show how we work today.
Automated scam-checker sites still show scores calculated from the 2024 website too. We are sending them the registry record above and asking them to re-check the domain.

Be careful of anyone who contacts you offering to get the money back for an upfront fee. Paid "recovery" services are a common second scam aimed at people who have already lost funds.
