We want to hear when something goes wrong. Making a complaint is free, and we will treat you fairly and keep your information private.

1. How to make a complaint

Please tell us your name, how to reach you, what happened, any invoice number, transaction hash or order number, and what you would like us to do. If you need help making a complaint, for example because of a disability or language barrier, tell us and we will help.

2. What happens next

  1. We confirm we have received your complaint within 1 business day.
  2. Someone who was not involved in the problem looks into it, and may ask you for more information.
  3. We give you our answer in writing within 30 days. If we need more time, we tell you why and when you can expect an answer.

Some matters, such as holds made for legal reasons, are limited by the law, and we may not be able to explain everything.

3. If you paid a merchant

Complaints about goods or services you bought should go to the merchant first, because they are the seller. We can help with problems about the payment itself, for example an amount that was not credited, and we will contact the merchant if they do not respond.

4. Privacy complaints

See section 11 of our Privacy Policy. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: www.oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992.

5. If you are not satisfied

  • Consumer issues: the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (accc.gov.au) or the fair trading agency in your state or territory, such as NSW Fair Trading or Consumer Affairs Victoria.
  • Privacy: the OAIC (see above).
  • Scams and cybercrime: Scamwatch (scamwatch.gov.au) and ReportCyber (cyber.gov.au).
