This Privacy Policy explains how Cryptomo ("we") collects and uses personal data when you use Cryptomo (https://cryptomo.net).

1. Data we collect

• Merchant account data: name, email, business name, website, country, login history (IP address, browser), security settings.
• Verification data (if requested): identity and business documents. These are stored encrypted and accessed only by authorised staff.
• Payment data: invoice amounts, order references, the customer email a merchant chooses to send us, blockchain addresses and transaction hashes. Blockchain transactions are public by nature.
• Technical data: IP addresses and request logs used for security, fraud prevention and rate limiting.
• Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

2. How we use it

To provide and secure the service, process payments and withdrawals, meet legal obligations (including anti-money-laundering checks), prevent fraud, send service emails (for example payment notifications, new sign-in alerts and security notices) and answer your questions. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

3. Legal bases

Performance of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the service (hosting, email delivery, blockchain data providers, exchange-rate providers), with authorities when legally required, and with the merchant you pay (for customers). Providers may be located outside your country; where required we use appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

Account and transaction records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as required by law (typically 5 years for financial and AML records). Logs are kept for a shorter period.

6. Security

We use encryption for secrets and verification documents, two-factor authentication, signed API requests and access logging. No system is perfectly secure; please protect your password and API keys.

7. Your rights
